You cannot close a school to renovate it. Every decision on this project was made around a building that had children in it.
Description of services
Modernization of an early childhood academy, including the build-out of nine new administrative offices and a new restroom, modernization of the special education classrooms, upgrades to the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and updated interior finishes throughout.
Materials and finishes were selected for the demands of an early childhood setting, with acoustics that support learning and durable surfaces built to withstand active daily use. Every detail was coordinated with the academy's educational mission, and the work was sequenced around the school's operating calendar.
Enhanced outcomes
Enhanced learning environments: modernized special education classrooms designed for young learners' developmental needs, new administrative space that allows staff to work more effectively, and upgraded building systems and finishes that improve the daily experience for both students and the educators who serve them.
