The Festival Center is what happens when a single building is asked to serve nineteen organizations at once. Usource delivered it as a design-build project, which meant the drawings and the budget moved together instead of meeting for the first time at bid.
Description of services
Design-build services for a community facility consisting of new office spaces for 19 nonprofit organizations, an art gallery, conference and community meeting space, and a teaching commercial kitchen. Sustainability components include a new state-of-the-art solar awning and a clean energy focus that is projected to generate more than 60 percent savings in operating costs.
